The AgroBioHeat project is organising a free virtual matchmaking event – Bringing Value to Agrobiomass – on February 10th – 11th, 2021. The aim is to facilitate cooperation on sustainable utilisation of biomass from agriculture and side streams from food production.

During the European Sustainable Development Week, Green Energy Cluster will organize an online dissemination event in the frame of the AgroBioHeat project (H2020).
AgroBioHeat project aims to produce a mass deployment of improved and market ready agrobiomass heating solutions in Europe. Agrobiomass is a large, underexploited and indigenous resource, which can support the achievement of the European Energy and Climate targets, while promoting rural development and circular economy.

Using vineyard prunings for heat in the Penedès: a European success case
European stakeholders from the entire agrobiomass value chain for energy gathered from February 25th to 27th in the Barcelona municipality of Vilafranca del Penedès at a demonstration workshop within the European project AgroBioHeat.
Romanian start-ups developing products or services in areas like energy, smart city, mobility, intelligent electric networks, nuclear instruments, clean tech, guel or IT will be able to participate in January (Bucharest) and February (Brasov) 2020 to InnoEnergy PRIMER – pre-acceleration program from InnoEnergy.
AgroBioHeat: 2nd project meeting in Zagreb
The second project meeting of the AgroBioHeat project, funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, was held last week (3 – 5 July 2019) in Zagreb, hosted by the Green Energy Cooperative – ZEZ.
